Joy of Meditation – Yoga Retreat

The Joy of Meditation is a 3 day Yoga retreat conducted to help relieve all the stress and anxiety from ones busy urban schedule.It takes you to a deeper level of introspection to cope up with the demanding city life and equips one with the tools to go face the challenges head on.Experience a unbelieving Yoga experience with our experienced faculties and learn to stretch your muscles the right way.

We welcome you to come and experience the Joy of Meditation in the pristine environment of Govardhan Eco Village, where Harmony with nature and one self is the mantra we practice.

Day 1 – Friday

Arrivals by 5 pm or later
18:00 – Arrival and check in
19:30 – Dinner
20:30 – Orientation session followed by rest

Day 2 – Saturday

06:00 – Mantra Meditation
07:00 – Asana and Pranayama class
08:45 – Breakfast
09:30 – Wisdom talk
10:45 – Yoga Nidra
11:15 – Wisdom talk
13:00 – Lunch
16:00 – Asana and Pranayama class
17:45 – Vrindavan forest tour & Yamuna Arti.
19:00 – Kirtan.
19:30 – Dinner.

Day 3 – Sunday

06:00 – Mantra Meditation
07:00 – Asana and Pranayama class
08:45 – Breakfast
09:30 – Wisdom talk
10:45 – Yoga Nidra
11:15 – Yoga life style – Question and Answer sessions
13:00 – Lunch
16:00 – Asana and Pranayama class
17:00 – Reflections and feedback sessions
17:30 – Depart

Accommodation:

Gokul Single Rooms- Shared Bath
A Gokul Single is a small private room with one bed and shared bath. They include a ceiling fan, a desk with chair, electric tea kettle, a closet with hangers, and a small room heater. Bed linens, pillow, blanket, and towels are provided. A hall bath located in each area is shared by guests – averaging 2 people per bathroom. We make every effort to house guests in single gender dorm areas; however, depending upon enrollment, some areas may be coed.

What to bring?

Personal Yoga mat, Hat and clothing suitable for Indian summer.
Medicines that you might be regularly taking, Water bottles.
Weather is going to be hot during the day. However evening, night and early morning will be pleasant.
Only Vodafone network works the best, so you may choose to carry a Vodafone SIM card for phones. We have limited Wi – Fi facility for you to stay connected.
